Chipped tea dishes, for pleasure only

A deep sky with torn clouds at sunset

How I question and murmur

Alone in my body

Where the universe closes in

Terrifying in all its infinity

So I hold tight to your hand

Sing a song to pass the worry

Take a breath

Fill my eyes with my bounty

And continue on

Woe is me

Low and under

Until you touch me like a spark

A little stroke

Bit of fire

Jumping out of my bones

Into my fingers

When you fill me

Girth and strength

Tastes of sunsets

Fresh rain on pavements

Relish, eager

This moment of perfection

You stand before me

Dust on a roads tongue

A perfect summer

Have you got the heart to stop my trembling?

I’ll swallow you down

Coldest water

On parched lips

I promise

Just give me the sanctuary of your hands

Slow taste of your skin

Fine entanglement

Parking Lot

Hollow unrelenting rain

In a parking lot

I found you

Down below the concrete and asphalt

A midnight hour

Where we could kiss with haste

Eyes on the horizon

I’ve dug myself bloody

Every single moon

To be here now

Where I know you are

Left, forgotten

By all but me

The soil underneath is hard

Like the bones of your fingers

Packed into unfertile waste

Yet we’ll make something beautiful

In the taste of decay

Something perfect

In your marred visage

Close to mine

Let’s twine like roots

Become one heart and soul

Because true love transcends death

I like broken things

Sweet and slender as bones

A swirling tragedy

Muddled head

But with doe eyes

All fearful and wist

You rest in my shade

And I drink you in

Small intricacies

Comprised of cracks flaws

If only I could make you mine

I have crossed a threshold

Once again

Caressing the face of nature

As she kisses me tenderly

In the cradle of creation

I am open in her arms

A mysterious lullabye

That onlookers cannot decipher

Smile again

Lips full of moonbeams

And her sweet nectar

An initiate to her depth-less mysteries
